HISTORY OF THE CHURCH
Dayspring Center is a congregation of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, a Spirit-filled and led Church whose headquarters is in Nigeria. Still, it has branches in 197 countries, with 9 million members and over 50,000 parishes globally (www.rccg.org). Our church has over 960 parishes in the United States of America and the Caribbean www.rccgna.org.
The global vision and mission of the church are to make it to heaven by living a life of holiness and to take as many people as possible along. The goal is to pursue this vision until every nation and people group in the world is reached for Jesus Christ, our Lord.
DAYSPRING CENTER, a Colorado-registered non-profit organization, was founded in October 2003 and is a United States government-certified 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt entity. As a church planting organization, the church has birthed three parishes in the Denver metro area since its inception. Dayspring Center owns and operates the property known as the Lapis Lazuli Community Center, which was purchased in 2021 and serves as our place of worship, community engagement, philanthropy, job training, youth mentoring, tutoring, elder/senior care, and childcare.
Leadership
Founding/Lead Pastor
Vincent Omoalukhe Omegba is the Servant-in-Chief of Dayspring Center. He holds a law degree from the University of Jos, Plateau State of Nigeria, in 1984, and was called to the Nigerian Bar as a certified attorney in 1985. He holds a diploma in Theology from the Redeemed Christian Church of God Bible College, Nigeria. He also has a master’s degree in organizational leadership from Colorado State University Global Campus, Denver, CO.
He is an organizational psychologist and a Cultural Intelligence Center-certified Cultural Intelligence trainer and facilitator.
Pastor Vincent is passionate about raising leaders and helping people to see God as a loving Father who wants all people to be saved and live a life of fulfillment. As a people developer and workplace psychologist, he mentors and coaches people in spirituality, leadership, healthy lifestyle, organizational development, workplace behavior, and family issues.
